About the 113 online training: suicide prevention
In this online suicide prevention training, you will discover and practice what you can do if you suspect that someone close to you is thinking about suicide. The training consists of 3 lessons:
- Signal
- Talk about it
- Seek help together
The training provides information in the form of text, animations, and videos. Each lesson also consists of a number of exercises. The training concludes with ten questions so that you can test for yourself whether everything was clear. If not, simply redo a question. You have passed the training if you answer eight or more questions correctly. After completing the test, you will receive a certificate via email.
Additional information
The goal of the online training is that everyone, including you, knows that you can make a difference in preventing suicide by learning:
- How to be alert to signals from loved ones
- How to ask about suicidal thoughts and have the conversation
- How you can point the other person to possibilities for help
You start the training by signing up with a name of your choice, a valid email address, and a password. You can then start immediately. This training takes approximately one hour. We recommend completing the training in one sitting, but you can stop and restart it whenever you want.
This course is offered on another website. You must create an account to participate. There is no maximum number of participants.
