Tasks and duties
Cosis runs the restaurant De Plantage together with people with an intellectual disability. The restaurant is located in the beautiful gardens of Hortus in Haren.
We have set up work-study programs for people with disabilities so that they can train in the hospitality industry. As a volunteer, you support us in the hospitality sector and can assist with the training.
At De Plantage, we offer guests coffee with a treat and simple lunches.
Skills and qualities
You support people with an intellectual disability with, for example:
- Customer friendliness.
- Making sandwiches and soup.
- Serve.
- Using the cash register.
- Hygiene.
- dishwashing area.
We are looking for people who enjoy working in the hospitality industry together with people with an intellectual disability.
Are you enthusiastic, can you motivate others, and do you remain calm when many guests walk in? Then we would like to talk to you to see what we can do for each other.
Additional information
For rhythm and structure, it is important that you choose one fixed day (or part of a day) to work with us (or multiple days a week).
The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday (10:30 to 16:30).
