The CosisClub is a Work, Day Activities, and Learning (WDL) location and offers a safe and supportive environment for clients who do not qualify for work-related day activities. The WDL location is offered at two sites in Groningen and is currently in a development phase. We provide day activities to aging clients with an intellectual disability. The client group is growing. Our experiential group focuses on people who require a great deal of closeness, warmth, and care. Everything here revolves around creating meaningful and enjoyable day activities.
Currently, about 17 participants (8 per day) visit the CosisClub; we aim to grow to 24 participants (12 per day) this year.
Tasks and duties
At the CosisClub, we focus on providing a rich and varied experiential world. This includes creative activities, for example centered on movement and music. Attention is paid to the individual with his or her unique needs and wishes. Our goal is to create a warm and pleasant atmosphere in which everyone feels valued and supported.
Currently, the team consists of two employees, an intern, and a team coordinator. In addition, we are actively working to engage volunteers at our location.
Skills and qualities
Do you enjoy supporting this target group with their activities such as drawing, coloring, crafting, or joining in our exercise program? Additionally, we are looking for someone to assist with coffee/tea breaks, lunch, and washing up. Furthermore, we enjoy playing games aimed at maintaining knowledge and skills. Running a quick errand with someone at the shopping center is also a possibility.
Additional information
Would you like to join our team for at least 3 mornings a week? We start at 10:00 AM, and participants return home at 3:00 PM. However, if you have less time, the hours can always be adjusted.

Zodat degene met de hulpvraag zoveel mogelijk zijn eigen leven kan leiden en daar grip op heeft.
