Do you have an hour to spare during the week?
Residents seek companionship (having a cup of tea and/or a chat), taking a short walk, or simply enjoying each other's company.
Would you like to visit a resident? It takes little effort and makes a big difference!
After an introduction, I will match a resident who aligns with your preferences, personality, and hobbies.
Tasks and duties
- You make someone happy with a pleasant visit once a week.
- You get both good company and gratitude in return.
- You can chat for a bit, take a walk, have coffee, or do anything else you have in mind.
Skills and qualities
- Social; able to make contact with people.
- Patient/calm.
- Affinity with the elderly.
- Some experience with dementia helps, but is not a requirement.
