Interesting or nice about this vacancy
Do you enjoy being outdoors? Do you like going out with a group of people? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge of the flora, fauna, and cultural history of the area with others? Then join the volunteers of Team Reitdiep who organize excursions from our Reitdiep Visitor Centre in Noorderhoogebrug.
Tasks and duties
Cycling through the Reitdiep Valley, watching meadow birds in the Koningslaagte, or taking a long seasonal walk through the area. The variety on offer is extensive, and after an induction period, you will be able to devise and organize your own excursion. Naturally, you will receive help from your teammates and the nature managers.
If you wish, you can take a course in excursion techniques with us to further develop your skills. Is the time almost here? The Public & Relations department will bring your excursion to the attention of the public by posting it on our website and sending out press releases. We hope for many registrations and that you and your guests enjoy all the beauty the Reitdiepdal has to offer!
Skills and qualities
If you enjoy sharing your love for nature, landscape, and heritage with others, this is the ideal volunteer work for you. You can determine the topic of your excursion yourself, as well as when you lead it. Naturally, this will be done in close consultation with your teammates and within the framework of our organization.
