Tasks and duties
Het Twaalfde Huis offers work that can be tailored to one's own capabilities. Work is a means to connect, provide meaningful daytime activities, and restore a sense of self-worth. We are looking for someone to support us logistically (driver).
What activities do people do?
- Transport.
- In addition, you do grocery shopping and all other common chores.
- Mainly in the morning hours, but also a few afternoons a week, we carry out various distribution jobs in the city of Groningen.
- Sometimes we dispose of bulky waste, for example, but delivering packaging work can also be part of the job description.
- You supervise a group of long-term addicted men who are motivated to have something to do during the day.
- You are available for at least 16 hours per week.
Skills and qualities
It is helpful if you are confident and empathetic towards our target audience without losing your own course.
Additional information
During an introductory meeting, we look at what the volunteer enjoys and where they want to grow; what their current situation is and what is needed for a personal step. We look for a volunteer who, after a short onboarding period, can quickly become independent and strengthen the team.

They are often unable to overcome these on their own. Their world is often small, and their behavior is not always appropriate.
