Tasks and duties
As a reception employee, you are the first point of contact for local residents and guests walking into Magma. You welcome them and direct them to the correct location. You prepare meeting rooms, including catering, manage the schedule for all meeting rooms, and handle mail and telephone for Magma.
Skills and qualities
- You have a fun and spontaneous personality.
- You love greeting people with a smile.
- You are willing to perform light household chores.
- You are not afraid to speak your mind.
- You have a good to excellent spoken command of the Dutch language.
You do not need work experience for this position. We find it more important that you are a fun, spontaneous, and enthusiastic person who enjoys working with people and can work reasonably independently.
Additional information
Magma Vinkhuizen is a community building housing over 22 initiatives, mostly organized for and by the Vinkhuizen neighborhood. From sports to cooking, from shopping to creative sessions, from senior coffee to youth clubs. Young and old, everyone is welcome.
Magma Vinkhuizen is the social community center of Vinkhuizen.
As a volunteer, you can participate in activities within Magma such as the annual BBQ and New Year's drinks, but we also go out for dinner as a team and you receive a Christmas hamper.
