As a lock keeper, you are the host of our lake; the boats sailing onto the lake through the lock are welcomed by you and safely guided through the lock. Every day is different, and together with your fellow lock keepers, you ensure a safe passage through the lock. You work alone at the lock but hand over your shift to a colleague.

Tasks and duties

During the boating season, from April 1 to October 1, the lock is open from 9:00 to 19:00.

Lock service is from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00.

The schedule is determined in consultation, and you can swap a shift with your colleagues once.

Skills and qualities

An affinity for technology and vessels is desirable. And good communication skills.
