OOG Sport is looking for (radio) reporters. Our sports reporters provide (live) coverage of what is happening on the Groningen sports fields.
As a sports reporter for OOG Sport, you update listeners on the match you are watching. For over 10 years, OOG Sport has been the premier sports program of the Municipality of Groningen and a springboard for (sports) journalism talent. At OOG Sport, you can perfectly combine your passion for sports with the development of your journalistic skills.
Tasks and duties
- (Radio) commentary of a sports match (amateur football, volleyball, basketball, etc.)
- Conducting interviews after the match
- Taking photos of the match (smartphone)
- Writing a news report (optional)
Skills and qualities
- Affinity with (Groningen) sports
- Available weekly or every other week on Saturday afternoons (14:00-17:00)
- Clear pronunciation of the Dutch language
- Private transport within the municipality of Groningen
- Be able to describe what happens to you on the sports field
- Interview
- Basic skills in photography and filming with a smartphone
- Writing a news report (optional)
For this position, you must possess a smartphone with internet access; other equipment and any necessary training will be provided by OOG.
