We are looking for a female supervisor for a regular group of elderly ladies who have been coming to the Poortershoes for a long time for their weekly shuffleboard activity on Thursday afternoons. It is a friendly group, and the social aspect is at least as important as the shuffleboard. The group is part of the senior citizens' association OSO (Ouderen Sociëteit Oosterpoort). The current supervisor has now reached an age where she wishes to hand over the supervision to someone else.
Furthermore, you are eligible for a volunteer allowance.
Tasks and duties
Organizing and supervising the shuffleboard game: setting up equipment, counting points, keeping records, and joining in the fun!
Skills and qualities
Interacting with older ladies, being empathetic, and above all, enjoying doing it! Age doesn't matter.
