We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers and are not guided by cultural background, gender identity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or age.
Tasks and duties
- Together with your colleagues, you conduct selection interviews with candidates. To do this, you create a schedule and invite candidates for an interview. With your expertise, you ensure that suitable and motivated volunteers become part of support activities.
- In addition, you contribute to the development of volunteer policy, but you also have the opportunity to get involved in other volunteer activities. An example of this is actively recruiting new candidates at the volunteer market.
- The position requires an average of four hours per week, but you decide how to allocate this time yourself. Because you create a schedule together with your colleagues, you are not tied to a fixed part of the day.
Skills and qualities
In this position, you play a crucial role within our organization. After all, the Red Cross, Groningen district, cannot function without volunteers in its relief efforts. It is the task of the Selection Team to select the right volunteers and match them with the Red Cross's relief activities.
The Selection Team is therefore looking for people who already have some experience or knowledge of recruitment and selection, wish to develop further in this area, and would like to contribute to the Red Cross.
