Tasks and duties
De Swoaistee is a public primary school offering Jenaplan education. The school is located in the heart of the Lewenborg district. 'Swoaistee' is the Groningen dialect word for 'turning place', a place where boats can turn around. The school has over 600 pupils. At De Swoaistee, Jenaplan education is given substance based on the following vision, among others: Education is broader than learning subjects; raising children with values and norms is also part of it. Every person is unique, and differences are allowed. Therefore, children of different ages sit together in the same class.
- Major maintenance on the school garden, preparing for winter and spring.
