Tasks and duties
COSIS supports people with intellectual disabilities. Children up to 18 years of age use the De Kleine Beer Day Centre. Approximately 48 children visit us every week. We work with groups of 5 to 9 children. The groups are organized by age and the children's abilities. The primary goal is to promote their development in various areas, such as communication, play and activities, motor skills, and self-reliance. Each group has its own program. There are six group rooms. The day centre has two playrooms, a swimming pool, a gymnasium, an inflatable bouncy castle, a music room, and a playground.
- Assisting with daytime activities.
- Supporting children during meals and while drinking coffee/tea.
- Guiding children in experience-oriented activities, paying attention to the children.
- Help with setting up materials, tidying up, and cleaning.
- Other incidental duties.
Skills and qualities
- You are reliable and well-groomed.
- You have a knack for dealing with people who have disabilities.
- You must be able to work independently.
