Well-led meetings, once a month in the evening (20:00-21:30), in a constructive atmosphere. Everything the Food Bank deals with is covered: finances, the building, volunteers, food stocks, food safety, etc.

Tasks and duties

Prepare for meetings (read documents), discuss, contribute ideas and consult, make decisions. Participate once a year in a food safety (refresher) course. Participate in the volunteer evening (once a year) and outing (once a year).

Skills and qualities

Communicate clearly verbally and in writing. Be solution-oriented. Make contact easily. Acquire and maintain knowledge of poverty and poverty policy in Het Hogeland.

Additional information

We are looking for a board member with general applicability. Taking minutes and temporarily replacing the secretary (going on maternity leave in due course) are among the possibilities (in consultation).
