The 3-hectare site is beautifully situated on the Drentsche Aa, where you can enjoy being outdoors, being together with like-minded people, and making a meaningful contribution to the future by developing a food forest with an inspiration center, especially while working. The work is very diverse (green production, catering, social media, education, and sales), and thanks to the expert guidance of organizer Madeleine, landscape designer Marlies, and chef Marianne, you can learn a tremendous amount about food, nature, and inspiration at the Food Forest in Glimmen.
Tasks and duties
The work of the teams is very diverse: gardening team, production team, catering team, or social media, education, and sales at markets. You can also participate in multiple teams, depending on your talents and interests. The work varies from establishing and maintaining a food forest, harvesting, drying, and processing produce, creating recipes and assisting with catering, to telling the story of the food forest, the products, and the activities to interested parties. Every week, you will receive a work list describing what needs to be done that week.

Enthusiasm, curiosity, the desire to develop and learn, a sense of responsibility, and a certain degree of independence.
