Tasks and duties

Creating atmosphere and paying attention to guests in the tea house, a meeting place at the Selwerderhof cemetery.
Serving coffee, tea, and refreshments.
Light household activities.
Checkout using a simple cash register.
Additional tasks are possible behind the scenes.

Skills and qualities

To be able to welcome the guests with an open heart and a listening ear.
To have empathy.
To be open-minded.
Ability to work with other volunteers.

Additional information

The Selwerderhof is visited primarily by grave visitors, but also by peace seekers, silence enthusiasts, birdwatchers, and walkers.
You listen to guests who appreciate a chat, perform light housekeeping duties, and prepare and serve drinks. At the moment, we are mainly looking for people who have time to be a host/hostess on weekends.
