Community center Het Dok houses a neighborhood restaurant, Brasserie de Haven. In this restaurant, residents of the neighborhood can meet each other over a delicious meal. In addition to the neighborhood restaurant, there is plenty to do at Het Dok; it is an active community center with many facilities for the neighborhood. These include theater and venue rental, and the WIJ-team is also located at Het Dok. Het Dok is situated near the Lewenborg shopping center.
Tasks and duties
Will you come support us in the kitchen? We have a friendly team where there is room for you.
You take care of:
- Coming up with the soup of the day and the sandwich of the week
- The purchase of the necessary products
- Taking care of the lunch dishes
- Serving dishes in the restaurant
- Making sure the kitchen is clean for the next day
Skills and qualities
Are you socially skilled and an enthusiastic person who enjoys working in a team? Then we are looking for you!

Wijkcentrum Het Dok is het informatiecentrum in de wijk. De plaats waar de bewoners kunnen komen met hun hulpvragen maar ook voor hobby's en interesses, het volgen van cursussen en voor vrijwilligerswerk. Waar wijkbewoners terecht kunnen met vragen aan de gemeente (afdeling Burgerzaken) en waar ze op de dinsdagochtend terecht kunnen bij het politie-spreekuur.
