Participation jobs general information

Do you receive social assistance benefits and is paid work not yet possible? With a participation job, you gain work experience while retaining your benefits. In our job board   You can select participation jobs by filtering on participation job (see extra filters), but you may also search for an organization yourself where you would like to work.

What requirements must you meet?

You receive a full social assistance benefit and are 27 years of age or older. In a participation job, you work 16 to 32 hours for a maximum of two years. You are not simultaneously participating in another employment program.

Benefits of a participation job

In a participation job, you can develop at your own pace and discover what work suits you. You receive a premium of €800.00 every six months. You retain your benefits, receive guidance, and can switch to another participation job if desired.
