Frequently Asked Questions

I also see a checkbox for the crisis pool, what is that?

In times of crisis, there is often a special role reserved for us as a volunteer center. The crisis pool is a list of people we may contact in times of need. This way, we can all respond quickly when necessary.

Can I unsubscribe again?

Yes, that is possible. On your profile page, you can indicate with a single click of your mouse whether or not you want to be part of the volunteer and/or crisis pool.

Can anyone just approach me?

No, you can only be contacted by organizations that are members of our platform (all organizations are screened by us first). Furthermore, the number of times you can be contacted is limited to 5 open requests. This is to prevent you from being overwhelmed with requests.

I am not being contacted, what now?

You can try adjusting your profile text or preferences. You can also search for a suitable activity yourself or proactively approach organizations by taking a look here . Still need help? Contact us!
