About 50|50 Groningen Leger des Heils
50|50 Groningen is part of the Salvation Army and focuses on participation, daytime activities, and reintegration. We ensure that participants who are far removed from the labor market can return to work. We do this by teaching employee skills and vocational skills in a protected work environment where real business life is simulated as much as possible. Work supervisors and a reintegration coach work with the participants on personal development goals. Labor market orientation, transition to paid employment, and aftercare are handled by the reintegration coach. 50|50 Groningen has a field service in landscaping and maintenance. We have partnerships with regular companies in the green and maintenance sectors. This allows for effective practice in performing tasks that align with regular employment. In the Salvation Army's multifunctional business premises on Van Swietenlaan, 50|50 Food has a kitchen where lunches are prepared for staff to enjoy in the company restaurant. Meeting packages are also provided here. In addition, we also take care of the pantries on all floors of the building and handle the maintenance of the coffee machines.
