AFS is a non-profit, volunteer organization that is part of a global network aiming to offer young people and families an open perspective on a multicultural society and a globalized world through intercultural learning experiences.
AFS supports young people and their host families during their exchange. Young people come to the Netherlands from all over the world for 3 to 10 months, live with a host family, and thus become part of a completely new environment and culture. At the same time, Dutch young people go on exchange to various countries, and the volunteers take care of the preparations for this adventure.
