The goal of the ASDG is to ensure that policy in the social domain better aligns with the needs of residents. They do this by bringing together different perspectives and making a constructive and critical contribution to the considerations made by politicians and policymakers.
The Advisory Group Social Domain Municipality of Groningen provides independent advice to the municipality on issues in the social domain. The ASDG is composed of 15-20 volunteer participants from the Municipality of Groningen. These participants have diverse backgrounds, motivations, and qualities. The group is supported by professionals in the fields of organization and communication.
