Spark is the new feel-good cultural center of the city of Groningen, beautifully situated in the Stadspark. It is an inspiring meeting place where music, movement, and creativity come together under one roof. Spark stands for cheerfulness, energy, creativity, and above all, connection between people.

In our center, we offer various activities in our atmospheric spaces:

• The *SparkSpace*: perfect for dance, yoga, meditation, or as a practice space.
• The *SocialRoom*: furnished with tables and chairs, ideal for creative activities, children's parties, and social occasions.
• A spacious kitchen where you can cook.
• A large garden with a fire pit and a cozy terrace (open from April).

In addition, Spark also houses Afrikassi's colorful boutique.

Tasks and duties

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to help us make Spark the place where people can meet, develop themselves, and simply feel good.

As a volunteer at Spark:

• Will you help organize and supervise activities?
• Contribute to the welcoming atmosphere of our center.
• Assist with the maintenance of our beautiful location.
• Do you contribute ideas for new initiatives?

Skills and qualities

• You have an affinity for culture, creativity, and connection.
• You are hospitable and enjoy interacting with different people.
• You can work independently, but you are also a team player.
• You are enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
• You are available for at least 4 hours per week.
