Groningen Giants American Football is a close-knit sports club that has been playing consistently in the Eredivisie for several years. Our goal is to expand this to the BeNe(Lux)!
The club relies on membership fees, sponsorship, and, of course, passionate volunteers. With the help of our volunteers, we can offer all playing members, from young (12+) to old, a fun and new sporting experience.
The club consists of three different teams:
Groningen Giants (first team) competing in the AFBN Eredivisie
Groningen Giants Youth (12-17 years)
Groningen Giants Cheer (a mixed cheerleading team)
Groningen Giants are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can ensure the day runs smoothly on match days for the sometimes up to 80 active players on and around the field.
Additionally, referees are essential to the sport. The national federation is continuously looking for new referees. If interested, you can send an email without obligation to info@groningengiants.nl.
