- As treasurer, you play an important role in the organization and deal with all organizational units.
- You contribute to better knowledge about autism in adults, from the perspective of people with autism themselves.
- You will become part of a team of more than 45 autistic adults. This way, you will get to know new people with autism. Our working methods are tailored to autistic characteristics.
- You will be clearly told what is expected of you. We work with written job descriptions and guidelines.
- You can do this volunteer work from home, from anywhere in the Netherlands or Belgium. All contact takes place via email, WhatsApp, and Teams.
Tasks and duties
We are looking for a volunteer who loves numbers, has experience with bookkeeping, and is willing to serve as treasurer for at least a year and a half.
As Treasurer, you are ultimately responsible for our budget of 10,000 euros. You handle the financial administration (with approximately 160 entries per year). Within the board, your primary role as Treasurer is that of the person financially responsible.
What are the tasks?
- You make payments, process expense claims, and occasionally create an invoice.
- You are ultimately responsible for the accounting in Excel.
- You prepare the annual accounts and the budget at the beginning of the year.
- You actively participate in the monthly board meeting (1 hour, via Teams)
Skills and qualities
- You are good with numbers and can work accurately.
- You can prepare annual accounts and a budget, and keep accounts.
- You have experience coordinating or managing and can work independently.
- You are good at functional communication; verbally, via email, and via WhatsApp.
