We are a playground that has existed for over 50 years. As a volunteer, you work together with the manager. In return, we do fun things for volunteers, such as a Christmas hamper or dinner, and we have a fun evening for all volunteers every year.
Tasks and duties
Around the playground, we have a large garden with play equipment surrounded by trees and bushes. This needs to be maintained so that the children can play safely. For instance, we have a passageway through the bushes that children can walk through. Additionally, the sandbox and safety sand must be maintained regularly.
You consult with the manager about what needs to be done to the playground and carry out these tasks alone or together with the manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to maintain the vegetation around our playground. The tasks include:
- Maintenance of the interior and exterior of the building
- Keeping the safety sand clean.
- Pruning the bushes.
- Maintenance of the playground equipment.
- Technical maintenance on the playground
- Host / hostess
- Other common tasks.
Skills and qualities
A person with experience in landscaping who enjoys contributing to a clean and safe playground for the children. Additionally, you are welcoming to our visitors.
