Tasks and duties
The duties of the neighborhood caretaker are aimed at a livable neighborhood that is clean, well-maintained, and safe.
- You are the link between residents and authorities.
- You are the point of contact for neighborhood residents and environmental management.
- You monitor the fire escapes, porches, and basements.
- You report technical malfunctions and irregularities.
- You address residents when they do something that is forbidden.
- You clean up litter and replace broken lights in the alleyways.
- You prepare reports and consult with the corporations regarding them.
- You do chores in and around the house for the elderly.
- You participate in various meetings and neighborhood-oriented activities such as Lentekriebels and neighborhood days.
- You perform other duties that benefit the residents and the living environment.
Skills and qualities
- You have a social and service-oriented attitude.
- You possess good communication skills.
- You have a proactive work attitude.
- You are physically capable of performing the work.
- You can work both independently and in a team.
