Buurtcentrum Stadspark is a foundation whose objectives include organizing activities for residents of the Grunobuurt, Laanhuizen, Zeeheldenbuurt, and Badstratenbuurt. However, we also strive to combat loneliness and aim for even greater connection with the residents of the neighborhood.
We stand for innovation
Over the coming year, we will focus on renewing the Community Center; for instance, we will renovate our kitchen. The outdated kitchen is too small to really host any events. We would also like to focus on cooking together, for and by neighbors.
Tasks and duties
The board meets once every six weeks to discuss the progress of the Community Center and new developments.
You contribute to the mission and vision of the Community Center.
Skills and qualities
You have some experience as a board member, and you know what is going on in the social domain of the Municipality of Groningen.

Ready for the future!
We want to be ready for the future. What can the community center mean for people who need to continue living at home but may receive less care? We can offer a warm community room when gas prices skyrocket or coolness during hot summers.
To achieve this, we need new board members, preferably from the neighborhood, who know what is going on in the area. Who are willing to help think about the future of our beautiful community center.
