About Campus Groningen
Campus Groningen is the innovation campus of the Northern Netherlands and is made possible thanks to Hanze University of Applied Sciences, the University of Groningen, UMCG, the Municipality of Groningen, the Province of Groningen, and Bedrijvenvereniging WEST. Campus Groningen is home to 250 companies, 20,000 jobs, and over 50,000 students who want to make the world a little greener, healthier, and more sustainable. Together, within the Campus Groningen organization, we work on the key focus areas of Healthy Ageing, Sustainable Society, and Energy.
Campus Groningen works towards the above goals through various community building activities to foster new innovations, collaborations, and encounters on the Campus. Examples of these activities include events, dinners, networking drinks, brainstorms, online and offline communication, tours, etc. One of these activities is the Campus Trail, a unique running event across the Zernike Campus, running straight through buildings, over sports fields, and over obstacles.
