Matchpoint Sportmaatje connects people with a physical disability who want to exercise or play sports and need help with sporty volunteers: sports buddies!
We assess what help the athlete needs, where and when they want to exercise or play sports, and find a suitable volunteer. This can vary from help with changing clothes, help with the sport itself, or exercising together (motivation). We make the match, potentially supervise the first appointment, and then the sports buddies meet up themselves. We evaluate after a few weeks, and then our involvement ends.
