Tasks and duties

Colleague wanted for the clay department. In the clay department, you will teach children the tricks of the ceramics trade in an enthusiastic and inspiring way. You will guide children in the visual and technical aspects of ceramics, together with fellow volunteers.

Skills and qualities

  • You can work with the necessary tools and materials, and you have mastered at least a number of techniques, such as working with clay slabs, coils, one-piece rings, combination(s) thereof, and throwing on the potter's wheel.
  • Or you are capable of learning this.
  • You get along well with children and you enjoy motivating and encouraging them to get the best out of themselves.
  • Your background is visual and creative, and you have teaching insight.

De Jonge Onderzoekers. Wij bieden iedereen tussen van 8 en 18 jaar creatieve en technische werkplaatsen waar ze kunnen experimenteren met hout, metaal, papier en textiel, klei, electronica, lego, 3D- printen en ict. Daarbij is ons doel om dit financieel laagdrempelig te houden zodat het voor elk kind toegankelijk is. Daarnaast geven we cursussen op lokatie, scholen en buurthuizen.
