About GRID, Grafisch Museum Groningen
GRID Grafisch Museum Groningen is a unique, active, and dynamic small museum that actively connects the tradition of Groningen's rich graphic past with craft, language, and art.
Since the end of 2022, the museum on Sint Jansstraat has been closed to the public, and our permanent collection is in storage. Until a new building is available where we can present our new museum concept, we are using a beautiful space in ‘Het Kasteel’ (at Melkweg 1 in Groningen). Here, we organize temporary exhibitions and displays, among other things.
In addition, there is De DRUKTEMAKER. With this, we tour schools, community centers, institutions, and events in the city and surrounding area. Through this website, the public can get acquainted with our collection and the stories behind the many graphic objects in the museum collection.
