For our health center, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to welcome visitors and patients! You are our calling card and welcome everyone!

Gezondheidscentrum Groningen is a large health center in the heart of the city, where a general practice, various paramedics (physiotherapist, psychologist, midwife, dietitian, etc.), a pharmacy, a social team (WIJ team, youth and family support worker), and medical specialists (pediatrician, pulmonologist, gynecologist, etc.) work together to care for the residents of Groningen.
We offer a fun volunteer position in a vibrant, dynamic team where you will quickly feel at home. You will naturally become part of our team quickly and are always welcome for coffee, tea, and lunch. You can work out in our physiotherapist's gym, and of course, you can join us on team outings and drinks!
Tasks and duties
You can welcome visitors, patients, clients, and their companions in the waiting room/entrance and make them feel welcome by offering them a cup of coffee or tea, showing them the way, or answering any questions.
You could also get to work in the break and meeting room, where we relax and consult with each other during coffee, lunch, and tea breaks, and sometimes hold training or meetings after work. If you enjoy this, you could provide the sandwiches and coffee/tea here, and of course, you are more than welcome to join us for lunch!
Skills and qualities
We are open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 21:00 and Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00; working hours are flexible. We do not require any education or experience; your interest, enthusiasm, and sense of humor are enough for us!
