The Hortus Botanicus Haren is a special place. A green oasis where people find peace, marvel, learn, and enjoy nature in all its forms. We are proud of this, and we dedicate ourselves to it every day with heart and soul.
But we cannot do this alone: With your support, the gardens can continue to grow and flourish, rare plants are given space, we share our knowledge with young and old, and the Hortus remains a place where everyone feels welcome and connected.
Maintaining the special plant collections and the various special gardens (Chinese Garden, Celtic Garden, Laarmantuin), organizing special public events, providing guided tours and other educational activities for adults and children, and offering catering.
