Do you see work that needs to be done and do you enjoy taking care of a clean and beautiful environment? Are you good at maintaining woodwork and can you ensure that lamps, for example, look neat? Then come and join our newly formed cleaning team for the Chinese team as a volunteer on Wednesdays.
The Chinese garden named "The Hidden Realm of Ming" is one of the three Chinese gardens outside China, making it one of the most unique gardens in Europe. This garden was entirely designed by a city landscape architect from China and was built almost entirely by hand by Chinese craftsmen using exclusively Chinese materials.
Tasks and duties
As a volunteer in the cleaning team, you and other volunteers ensure that the garden always looks spick and span. Keep the woodwork and lights clean. When you see that a repair is needed, you report it within the organization. Together with the team, you work on the Chinese Garden on Wednesdays. In doing so, you make it a special place for our visitors.
Skills and qualities
The employee we are looking for:
- Takes initiative and sees what needs to be done.
- Loves to make the surroundings spick and span.
- Enjoys contributing to the preservation and strengthening of the Hortus Haren.
