A Grief Cafe takes place monthly. The core team, which handles the entire organization, is looking for reinforcements.
What does the core team do?
You divide these tasks among your colleagues:
- PR & communications; handling promotion and publicity via social media, newsletters, etc.
- Administration; think of managing registrations for the Grief Café & managing the mailbox
- Contact with the location where the Grief Café is held
- Assist with the planning and organization of the meetings
- Contribute ideas regarding the further development and visibility of the Grief Café
- Monthly meetings with your colleagues from the core team (taking minutes)
- Maintaining contact with the Café team volunteers & planning volunteer staffing
- Regularly attend the Grief Café afternoons
What we ask:
- Affinity with the theme of grief & loss
You have an open mind and you are flexible and socially skilled.
- You are available for an average of 4 to 8 hours per week for at least 1 year
- You can communicate clearly and work carefully
You enjoy working with the computer, and working digitally is no problem for you.
- You are good at planning and organizing
- You feel connected to the values of Humanitas
