Tasks and duties
When dropping off items, you might just be working at the nicest and most important place in our thrift store!
Every day, people come by wanting to give their items a second life – and we are so happy about that! You are the first face they see, so your kindness and attention really make a difference. People often want to tell us what they are bringing as well, so listening carefully is naturally part of the process.
Are you that friendly, patient, and social colleague who enjoys a chat and knows how to get things done? Then we are looking for you!
What are you going to do?
You accept the items that people bring for the store.
You sort the goods for the correct departments.
You like to roll up your sleeves.
Skills and qualities
Because people take the trouble to bring their items to us, they deserve the very best reception. Customer friendliness is key here: you are sociable, enjoy a chat, and help everyone with a smile. Additionally, you are good at assessing which donated goods are suitable for the store and select them based on quality.
Additional information
We appreciate our volunteers and therefore offer a volunteer allowance of up to €125 per month. In addition, you receive a 25% discount on items from the shop and may choose €15 worth of clothing. During your volunteer work, you will receive support from work supervisor Sjors. This cheerful work supervisor can, if necessary and desired, assist with carrying out your duties and your personal development.
