Tasks and duties
As an employee of the Transport Department, you ensure that items are collected from our donors and that purchased items are delivered to customers.
- Driver:
As a driver, you are the point of contact for our donors and customers. A healthy dose of customer friendliness is therefore required. Additionally, you can handle changing and unexpected situations well. You handle goods with care, have logistical insight, and some knowledge of the streets. A good command of the Dutch language is necessary for this position. Before you can start as a driver, you will first ride along as a co-driver on our buses for some time. To drive our buses, you need a B or BE driving license. - Passenger:
You do not need a driver's license to become a co-driver. You must have a knack for finding routes so that you can support the driver. Additionally, you must not have back problems, as lifting and carrying items is a significant part of your duties. Finally, you will have a lot of contact with customers, so it is important that you are customer-friendly.
