Workshop Assistant Photography

Art & Multimedia is a Noorderpoort school offering 10 different arts programs (from actor and musician to event organization, and from media designer to photographer). For the photography program, we are looking for an enthusiastic workshop assistant. The school is buzzing with creativity: we have theaters, (photography) studios, rehearsal spaces, workshops, etc. There is always something fun happening: from performing to presenting, and from photoshoots to exhibitions!

As a workshop assistant, you will be part of an inspired team of photography instructors who work with their students on tons of cool external and internal assignments. The studio where students take photos is a very important part of the program. We need someone who enjoys working with a young target group, can handle pressure, can be supportive of colleagues and students, and enjoys being an important link in the photography process and the teaching involved.

You gain experience working with people, equipment, and materials. You are important to young people in their development, and you work within a large network: not only in photography, but you also come into contact with various other educational programs and professionals.
