For the many performance locations (Noorderplantsoen and Downtown), Noorderzon is looking for people to ensure that our audience can enjoy attending our performances.
For the many performance venues (Noorderplantsoen and Downtown), Noorderzon is looking for people to ensure that our audience can attend our performances comfortably and safely. This means that, in addition to checking (scanning) tickets, you direct the audience to their seats and perhaps provide some additional information. During the performance, you ensure that no more audience members enter, and afterwards, you assist the audience with their departure. Sometimes we also ask you to help with the setup of the venue before the performance begins. You may be asked to do the same after the show. At every location, you will be supervised as a volunteer by our on-site (assistant) venue manager. You will always receive instructions from this person during your shift.
If this is something for you, sign up as a volunteer for this position. Most 'shifts' within public guidance for volunteers take place daily between 12:00 – 19:00 and between 18:00 – 23:00.
The minimum age for working in audience guidance at Noorderzon is 16. For evening shifts, the minimum age is 18.
