You can be heard on all radios tuned to OOG Radio! You will learn to record the news bulletin, with opportunities to further your training to do it live. There are also opportunities to advance towards OOG radio programs, for example as a technician or editorial staff member.

Tasks and duties

On OOG Radio, you hear the national news on the hour, but on weekdays during the day, you hear the OOG Radio News every half hour. This can be heard on OOG Radio and on the cable news service on OOG TV. We are looking for news readers for this news bulletin. As a news reader, you compile the news bulletin yourself based on reports from the OOG website. You then record this while you are listening to it. Afterwards, you add it to the playlist.

Skills and qualities

  • Available 2 to 3 days from 10:00 to 17:00, or at least half a day.
  • Clear pronunciation of the Dutch language.
  • Good at summarizing.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We are happy to teach you everything you need to do this job.
