Tasks and duties

Plaats de Wereld connects people, far and near. Because only together can we make the world fairer and more beautiful.
Our accessible volunteer organization is an educational activity center where we share knowledge and inspiration about a lifestyle close to nature and the colorfulness of the world. We do this honestly, respectfully, and with enjoyment. We collaborate with schools, churches, social organizations, and local governments. We share income and knowledge with projects in other parts of the world, with which we are closely involved.
The position:

• Collaboratively curating a varied workshop program for different target groups around the themes of sustainable lifestyle, global techniques in the creative and culinary fields, and cultural themes. The offerings can range from lectures and films to hands-on workshops.
• Guiding the workshops and groups attending an activity
  (from setting up to cleaning up)
• Handling the administrative process regarding workshop registrations and the website

Skills and qualities

• Broad interest in a lifestyle close to nature and interest in other cultures.
• Organizational talent and an eye for trends.
• Commercial insight.
• Experience and skills in publicity and communication.
• Available for 1-2 hours per week, possibly a half-day every two weeks.
