We run an incredibly cozy eatery three days a week, which attracts local residents in droves. The clientele consists largely of regulars, and you can tell by the way people interact. The food is incredibly delicious, and at the end of the evening, you eat together with the team.
Tasks and duties
The activities are as follows:
- Entering the reservations.
- Receiving the guests.
- Act as a link between the kitchen and the service.
- Entering drinks per table.
- Checkout orders.
- Recording new reservations.
- Closing the POS system (administrative)
Skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who is hospitable, hardworking, sociable, able to maintain an overview, and can act as a driving force in the smooth running of the evening. For this, some experience with a POS system or in the hospitality industry is quite essential. Closing down the POS system at the end of the evening is also an important part of the duties, so experience with that is already a plus!
Additional information
The services are on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 15:00 to 22:00 (taking into account possible overruns).
Due to the illness of our current head of the bar, this is not a permanent position. However, we do expect it to be a position until at least the winter of 2026.
