For our media library, we are regularly looking for people who can supervise independently and want to help students with lending books.

Tasks and duties
In addition to being a library, the media center is also a quiet study and workspace for our students. The students work independently here, but supervision is required and assistance is needed with the loan administration. You will primarily work when the media librarian is absent.
We are regularly looking for people who are available to work flexibly in our media library. Since the media library is open daily, you can report for duty on any given day.
- Tasks: registering the lending and return of books.
- Helping students find a book or information.
- Supervise in the media library and at the workstations.
- Keep the media library neat and orderly.
- Handling financial administration for fines, binding reports.
- You will receive internal training before you start work.

Skills and qualities
- Able to communicate openly and positively with young people.
- Flexible, social and calm
- Knowledge of and understanding of cultural differences.
- Some knowledge of/affinity with children's and adult literature, passion for books/reading.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work carefully and independently.
- Ability to act assertively (example: addressing students when they break rules)
- Not required, but a plus: insight into the purpose of a media library and experience in education.
Additional information
The media library is open from 9:00 to 16:30, so please take these start and end times into account, depending on whether you are working in the morning or in the afternoon.
We are currently looking for people who are available on Wednesdays (morning/afternoon) and Thursdays (afternoon).
