Objective
The association Scouting Nederland, of which Scouting de Jutters is a part, sets itself the following objective:
"The association aims to promote the Game of Scouting in the Netherlands in order to offer girls and boys an enjoyable leisure experience, thereby contributing to the formation of personality."
Mission
"Scouting is an open, socially engaged youth and young people's organization that offers its members an enjoyable and challenging leisure activity through the Scouting program. In this Scouting program, through active interaction with peers, inspired by the outdoors, a contribution is made to the formation of personality. Through this, scouts learn to explore their own boundaries with respect for themselves and their environment, and to take responsibility for themselves, each other, and the world around them.
The main activity is the Scouting game for the children, for which the leaders and the board (all volunteers) create the framework and preconditions. In addition, we provide support at various events. These include the Noorderzon Festival, 4 Mijl, various marathons, the Liberation Festival, the Groningen 4 and 5 May Committee, and more.
