The doors open on five Saturdays a year at the repair café in the Ten Boer Village Hall, where volunteers help with repairs. This can involve technical items (metal, electronics, wood) as well as textiles (sewing, knitting, etc.).
You are in contact with both customers of the repair café and the repair volunteers.
Tasks and duties
- For the repair café, you handle communication via our social media channels and maintain contact with the volunteer group.
- During a repair café, you act as the host and ensure that the repair forms are filled out and matched with a repair volunteer.
- After a repair café, you process the repair forms in the repair monitor. This tracks how repairable the items are.
Skills and qualities
- You have some experience with Excel, Word, Dropbox, and filling out online forms.
- You have some experience with social media channels (Facebook, Instagram).
- You have experience with graphic software (Canva, Inkscape, etc.).
- You are helpful and social.
Additional information
We have a repair café five Saturdays a year in the Ten Boer Village Hall.
