Tasks and duties
In the charming village center of Ten Boer, you will find residential care center Bloemhof. Bloemhof offers housing, care, and well-being for elderly people who can no longer live independently at home. There is always something to do at Bloemhof. You enter the building through the cozy Keuvelroemte, where you will find numerous facilities. There is a brasserie, an activity room, and much more. In the brasserie, you can enjoy a cup of coffee with visitors, have a sandwich at lunchtime, and/or have a hot meal.
Bloemhof is divided into two wings, Bloemhof and Lindenhof. Both have their own function and expertise. In Bloemhof, we provide care for residents with early-stage dementia, chronic physical ailments, or a combination of health problems.
For whom:
- For people receiving social assistance benefits who have been looking for work for a longer period of time.
- To gain insight into what you can do and what you want.
- To enhance your future prospects.
Tasks: Variation possible, depending on interest.
- Welcoming visitors, serving coffee/tea, having a chat.
- Assist with serving meals in the brasserie, both at lunchtime and during the bread meal around 5:00 PM.
- Cleaning, tidying up, and/or helping in the dishwashing area.
- Help with afternoon activities for residents / go for a walk outside with a resident.
- Water the plants, tidy up the reading table.
Skills and qualities
- You enjoy interacting with people.
- You see the work that needs to be done and want to get to work.
- You are honest and trustworthy.
