Tasks and duties
COSIS supports people with intellectual disabilities. Between ten and fifteen clients work in the woodworking workshop. The workshop has a sawmill, assembly, and painting department. Clients make numerous products in the workshop. We make tables, side tables, chairs, farmhouse benches, stools, various types of birdhouses and butterfly houses, (bicycle) crates, and flower boxes. In addition, we supply wood briquettes for fireplaces, wood stoves, and fire pits.
- Guiding participants in their work.
- Having coffee/tea with the participants.
- Helping with tidying up, cleaning, and other odd jobs.
Skills and qualities
- You are reliable and well-groomed.
- You have an affinity for people with an intellectual disability.
- You have a feel for woodworking and can work independently.
