As a reliable buddy, you help someone emerge from isolation and regain some trust in people. Moreover, you do fun activities together.
Tasks and duties
A man in his late 50s would like to break the loneliness a bit with a volunteer. He can no longer work due to chronic pain. He describes himself as very calm and quiet; he also doesn't tolerate noise well. He thinks it would be fun to go to street fairs or flea markets. He enjoys doing odd jobs/crafts and gardening. In the long term, he would also like to see if he can join an organization where he can make contacts himself.
Skills and qualities
- Social, empathetic, patient.
- It's nice if you have somewhat the same interests/hobbies.
