About Sailwise
Sailing provides an ultimate sense of freedom. A feeling that many people with a disability do not know. SailWise offers active and challenging watersports holidays for people with a disability or chronic illness. The SailWise team does this in collaboration with volunteers from three different accommodations: the two-masted clipper Lutgerdina, the catamaran Beatrix, and the watersports island Robinson Crusoe.
To make these holidays possible for people with a disability, we need enthusiastic volunteers for all individual trips (and group bookings at Robinson Crusoe). Being a volunteer involves assisting with daily care, accompanying people, performing household tasks, and supporting watersports activities. In addition to these volunteers, we are specifically looking for volunteers with a nursing background and volunteers with sailing experience. Experience in guiding people with a disability is not necessary. Before you start as a volunteer, you will follow an introductory program.
